Welcome to Fragments. We are FRAGMENTS SOFTWARE LIMITED ("we", "our", or "us"), an Irish company registered in Dublin 8, Ireland. We act as the Data Controller for your personal data under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
To provide the Fragments app experience, we collect and process the following information:
Account Data:
We collect your email address, username, password authentication data, and account identifiers so you can create, access, and secure your account.

We collect profile information you choose to provide, such as your username, bio, avatar, badge, follower count, following count, and profile settings.

We collect likes, comments, follows, notifications, saved scenes, and feedback you submit in the app.

Device and Technical Information:
We may collect technical information such as IP address, device model, operating system, app version, platform, push notification token, crash logs, diagnostic logs, and similar data needed to run, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the app.

Local App Data:
Some data is stored locally on your device, including app settings, privacy acceptance status, cached scenes, saved scenes, gallery data, and session files. This data is used to provide core app functionality and improve performance.

Fragments uses your camera and microphone so you can capture photos and audio recordings inside the app.
Fragments may access photos you choose from your device when you upload or set a profile picture.
Fragments does not collect GPS location data. If a location permission appears due to platform configuration or installed libraries, the app does not use it to collect your location.
Scenes may be private or public depending on the visibility setting you choose.
Private scenes are intended to be visible only to you, subject to the app's technical infrastructure and security controls.
Public scenes, captions, thumbnails, comments, likes, usernames, avatars, profile information, follower information, and related activity may be visible to other Fragments users.
You can change scene visibility where the app provides that option.
If you allow push notifications, we may collect and store an Expo push notification token and basic device identifier, such as your device model, so we can send notifications about relevant app activity.
